Refund & Cancellation
Last updated: May 2026
This Refund & Cancellation Policy ("Policy") describes the general refund, reversal, cancellation, settlement, and transaction handling practices applicable to services offered through Neobyt Fintech ("Neobyt", "Company", "we", "our", or "us").
This Policy applies to customers, merchants, agents, distributors, API users, and all users accessing or using the Services. By using the Services, Users acknowledge and agree to this Policy.
1. Scope of Services
This Policy applies to services including, where applicable: recharge services, bill payment and utility services, merchant payment and collection services, QR and digital payment services, travel and booking services, partner-enabled commerce services, software subscriptions or operational services, and API and platform services.
Certain services may be facilitated, processed, or fulfilled through third-party ecosystem or regulated partners. Refunds, reversals, cancellations, and settlement timelines may therefore depend on partner systems, banking networks, payment gateways, telecom operators, travel providers, utility operators, and external infrastructure.
2. Successful Transactions
Transactions successfully processed and confirmed may generally be treated as final. Users are responsible for verifying transaction details before confirmation, ensuring accuracy of mobile numbers, account numbers, bill references, booking details, or payment information, and reviewing applicable charges or service conditions before proceeding.
Neobyt shall not be responsible for losses arising from incorrect information entered by Users.
3. Failed Transactions
A transaction may fail due to banking downtime, network interruptions, partner system unavailability, timeout errors, technical failures, invalid transaction information, or operational restrictions.
Where payment is debited but the transaction fails or remains incomplete, the transaction may be automatically reversed or processed based on partner or banking reconciliation processes. Refund or reversal timelines may vary depending on banking systems, partner policies, settlement cycles, and operational conditions.
4. Pending Transactions and Reversals
Certain transactions may remain in pending, processing, queued, or under-review status due to external system dependencies or reconciliation processes.
Users acknowledge that reversal timelines may vary across service categories, some reversals are controlled by partner banks or payment systems, and Neobyt may not directly control partner settlement or refund timelines. Users are advised to wait for applicable reconciliation timelines before raising duplicate disputes or repeat transactions.
5. Recharge and Bill Payment Services
For recharge and bill payment services, successfully processed transactions may not be cancellable, duplicate payments may require partner or operator verification, failed or incomplete transactions may be reversed subject to reconciliation processes, and certain delays may occur due to operator or biller systems.
Users should verify mobile numbers, account details, bill references, and payment amounts before confirming transactions.
6. Travel and Booking Services
Travel, ticketing, hotel, or booking-related services may be governed by airline policies, hotel rules, travel operator conditions, cancellation windows, fare conditions, or third-party booking rules. Cancellation charges, rescheduling fees, convenience fees, or non-refundable conditions may apply depending on the service provider.
Refund timelines for travel-related services may vary based on partner approval, operator processing, banking timelines, and external provider policies.
7. Merchant Services and Settlements
Merchant settlements, reversals, or adjustments may be subject to transaction verification, reconciliation checks, fraud prevention review, partner processing timelines, chargeback handling, and operational or compliance review.
Neobyt may temporarily hold or delay settlement processing where suspicious activity is identified, reconciliation discrepancies exist, partner review is pending, or operational risks arise.
8. Non-Refundable Scenarios
Refunds or cancellations may not be available in situations including:
- successfully completed recharge transactions;
- incorrect details submitted by Users;
- duplicate transactions caused by User error;
- services already consumed or fulfilled;
- non-refundable travel or booking categories;
- subscription or software services already activated;
- charges or fees identified as non-refundable;
- transactions restricted under partner rules or applicable laws.
Convenience fees, platform fees, taxes, or partner charges may remain non-refundable unless otherwise required.
9. Chargebacks and Disputes
Users should first contact Neobyt support for transaction-related concerns before initiating external disputes or chargebacks. Where chargebacks or disputes are initiated through banking or payment systems, transaction records may be reviewed, supporting documentation may be requested, and settlement adjustments may occur based on partner or banking decisions.
Merchants may remain responsible for disputes arising from unauthorized transactions, service non-delivery, operational misuse, or fraudulent activity.
10. Refund Processing
Approved refunds or reversals may be credited through the original payment method, linked bank accounts, payment instruments, or other operationally supported channels. Actual credit timelines may vary depending on banking systems, payment gateways, partner institutions, and reconciliation cycles.
11. User Responsibilities
Users are responsible for reviewing transaction details before confirmation, ensuring accuracy of submitted information, maintaining transaction records and receipts, promptly reporting failed or disputed transactions, and avoiding duplicate payment attempts during pending status.
Users should not intentionally misuse refund processes, initiate fraudulent disputes, attempt unauthorized reversals, or abuse promotional or settlement systems.
12. Limitation of Responsibility
Neobyt shall not be responsible for delays caused by banking or partner systems, telecom or network failures, external reconciliation timelines, partner policy restrictions, incorrect information submitted by Users, or third-party service failures outside Neobyt's operational control.
13. Policy Updates
Neobyt may update this Policy periodically to reflect operational changes, partner requirements, technology developments, legal or regulatory updates, or service modifications. Updated versions will be published on the official website. Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
