Account Closure & Termination

Last updated: May 2026

This Account Closure & Termination Policy ("Policy") describes the general process, conditions, and operational practices relating to account closure, suspension, restriction, or termination for services offered through Neobyt Fintech ("Neobyt", "Company", "we", "our", or "us").

This Policy applies to customers, merchants, agents, distributors, API users, business partners, and all users accessing or using the Services ("Users"). By using the Services, Users acknowledge and agree to this Policy.

1. Purpose

This Policy is intended to:

  • provide transparency regarding account closure processes;
  • support responsible operational and data handling practices;
  • explain user rights relating to account termination;
  • maintain operational, fraud prevention, and security safeguards;
  • support lawful retention and audit requirements.

2. Account Closure Requests

Users may request closure of their account or discontinuation of Services by contacting Neobyt through official support or grievance channels.

Closure requests may require account verification, identity confirmation, completion of pending operational steps, or confirmation of authorized ownership of the account.

Neobyt may request additional information where reasonably necessary to prevent unauthorized closure requests, verify identity, protect platform integrity, or address operational or security concerns.

3. Conditions Prior to Closure

Before account closure is completed, the following may need to be resolved where applicable:

  • pending transactions or settlements;
  • unresolved disputes or chargebacks;
  • outstanding dues or service fees;
  • active subscriptions or services;
  • merchant settlement reconciliation;
  • verification or operational review requirements;
  • security or fraud-related investigations.

Closure requests may remain pending until applicable operational requirements are completed.

4. Merchant and Business Accounts

Merchant, distributor, API, or business accounts may additionally require:

  • settlement reconciliation;
  • return or discontinuation of operational access;
  • resolution of disputes or reversals;
  • completion of contractual obligations;
  • review of pending claims or liabilities.

Closure of merchant or business accounts may not immediately terminate obligations arising prior to account closure.

5. Suspension or Restriction by Neobyt

Neobyt may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to Services where:

  • misuse or suspicious activity is identified;
  • false or misleading information is provided;
  • fraud prevention or security concerns arise;
  • these Terms or applicable policies are violated;
  • partner or legal requirements necessitate action;
  • operational integrity may be impacted.

Such action may be temporary or permanent depending on the nature of the issue identified.

6. Fraud, Security, and Compliance Restrictions

Neobyt may delay or deny account closure where reasonably necessary for:

  • fraud prevention;
  • dispute resolution;
  • operational investigations;
  • security reviews;
  • legal or regulatory obligations;
  • partner reconciliation requirements;
  • or protection of users and platform operations.

Neobyt may also retain operational records and logs where required for lawful purposes.

7. Data Retention After Closure

Closure of an account does not necessarily result in immediate deletion of all associated information. Neobyt may retain certain information for periods reasonably necessary to:

  • comply with applicable laws or operational obligations;
  • maintain transaction and audit records;
  • support dispute handling;
  • prevent fraud and misuse;
  • maintain security and operational integrity;
  • enforce agreements and platform policies.

Information no longer required may be securely deleted, anonymized, or archived in accordance with operational practices and applicable requirements.

8. Service Access After Closure

Upon successful account closure or termination:

  • access to Services may be disabled;
  • account credentials may become inactive;
  • transaction history or operational records may no longer be accessible through user interfaces;
  • certain linked services may stop functioning.

Users are advised to retain copies of relevant transaction records, invoices, or operational documents prior to closure where required.

9. Re-Registration and Future Access

Neobyt may restrict future onboarding or access where:

  • prior misuse occurred;
  • fraudulent activity was identified;
  • legal or operational risks remain unresolved;
  • or previous account termination resulted from policy violations.

Approval of future access remains subject to operational review.

10. User Responsibilities

Users are responsible for:

  • maintaining accurate account information;
  • resolving pending obligations before closure requests;
  • protecting account credentials and authentication information;
  • promptly reporting unauthorized access or suspicious activity.

Users should ensure that linked payment instruments are updated where necessary, subscriptions or connected services are reviewed before closure, and operational or settlement dependencies are resolved.

11. Limitation of Responsibility

Neobyt shall not be responsible for:

  • delays caused by unresolved operational or settlement matters;
  • inability to access services after closure;
  • third-party partner restrictions or dependencies;
  • losses arising from closure requested by unauthorized individuals;
  • retention obligations required under applicable laws or operational requirements.

12. Policy Updates

Neobyt may update this Policy periodically to reflect operational changes, technology developments, partner requirements, legal updates, or security and fraud prevention practices. Updated versions will be published on the official website. Continued use of the Services after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
